ArrowFlow: Escape Puzzle

The business challenge

Arrow-escape puzzles are popular, but many boards are random, can be unsolvable, or rely on luck and short arrows instead of real planning.

• Guarantee that every level is solvable
• Make difficulty come from planning, not luck
• Keep arrow motion smooth on dense boards
• Work fully offline with no account

The solution

An Android puzzle game with 150 solver-verified levels. Every level packs 50+ long, continuous arrows into dependency chains up to 22 stages deep, with a short How to Play track, a daily puzzle, and optional help.

Design & development approach

• Built a dependency-driven level generator and a solver that proves every level solvable before it ships
• Generated long, continuous arrow paths (straight, L, U, S and winding shapes) that ramp up across four difficulty tiers
• Animated arrows along their own curved paths on the UI thread for smooth, constant-speed motion
• Kept ads to natural pauses between levels and opt-in rewards, never during a puzzle

• Classic mode with 3 hearts, or Relaxed mode with no failing
• Hints, an exit-lane guide, and a daily puzzle
